Hi, I've just ordered a new CNC router and would like some advice on bits for working with aluminum. I don't have any plans to work with anything thicker than 1/8" but who knows what I'll actually do! The CNC will be using a Bosch 1617EVS router (8K to 25K rpm) initially but I may upgrade to a Colombo spindle at a later time. Since I've not worked with aluminum before, I'd really appreciate any advice on type of bits to use and feed rates/DOC to use while I have the Bosch router. Thanks! Dave |

| I am also interested in the exact same topic. I have read a bunch of other threads with good advice, but generally when people are referring to resources to purchase bits they post a home page link (not a specific page/item link). This is great, but being totally green on the topic I am still not 100% sure which bits to purchase. Any more help/info is greatly appreciated. |
