Recommended center diameter for center rest

Hi all,

I need to machine a shaft that will be ground between centers.
I have looked high & low for a standard that recommends a center end diamter or depth in the shaft.

Does anyone have a chart that may reference this information
The only information I have found is for the physical sizes of the center drill tools.

Here is a brief description of my part
60° Center
Part Length = 3.622"
End Dia. #1 = .3543"
End Dia #2 = .5512"

This isnt exactly the details I was looking for

Is there a specification that would state center drill diameter based on the shaft diameter.
EX
SHAFT Dia. CENTER DIA or CENTER SIZE
.125 - .250" = .050 Dia
.251 - .500" = .125 Dia
.501 - 1.00" = .250 Dia

I guess I could have stated what I was looking for better.
