msc is another company that carries alot, But one idea is to contact a tool rep. and ask them, if you know the brand name or company that makes inserts. Tool reps can come in really handy when dealing with inserts at least that is what I have found
Good luck

Talking Insert Grade?

Are you sure you have listed the whole number?

I found this site that you may want to visit.
http://www.sowatool.com/catalogue/pd...s/p328-331.pdf

I did not see where it listed the insert number you listed, NC320.

In the crazy world of insert identifications, different companys can make their numbers more complicated to read as time goes by. Normally nobodys insert is going to have such a short number as you listed. It looks more like the grade than the actual insert number.

Is it a turning or milling insert?

This is a common insert type for general turning applications. The '2' in the 432 represents the insert corner radius. Divide this number by 64 and you'll get 0.0315 radius. For a sharper radius, you'll want a 431 (0.0156 radius) or a 43.0 (0.007 radius). Hope this helps.

Here ya go...
