do you think the electrostatic spraying is good?

hi ,everyone. I am Jessica from Taiwan How-Mau Machinery Co., Ltd.and I have a question for you.As all of our stamping parts are all painted by electrostatic spraying and we all know that the cost of electrostatic spraying is very high and do you think our company continues to use electrostatic spraying.The following is about the information of electrostatic spraying and you can see them for your reference.

Compared with the traditional spray-paint, the electrostatic spraying has advantages, that is it do not need to thinner; it does not cause damage to the environment and human’s body when it is used;the quality of the coat appearance is very high as well as adhesive ability and mechanical strength; it takes not long time for solidification when it is spray the paint;the ability of resisting rottenness and abrasion is much higher than the traditional spray-paint; it does nor need base paint; it can be used simply by almost each worker that does not require to have many skills; its cost is much lower than the traditional spray-paint; there are some places that stimulates the factory workers must use the electrostatic spraying clearly; there is no spill in the process of spray the paint while it often happens in the process of traditional spray-paint.

The technical principle of the electrostatic spraying is the equipment of electrostatic spraying (the electrostatic spraying machines) spray the powder or dope into the surface of the workpiece, the surface of workpiece absorb the powder homogeneously when the electrostatic plays a role to form a coat taking the shape of powder; such coat becomes the final coat of different effects( different effects of powder dope) after it is heated in the high temperature and roasted and leveling and solidifying; the effect of spraying the paint is superior to the traditional spray-paint in the aspects of mechanical strength, adhesive attraction, rottenresistance and aging resistance and other aspects ,the plastic particles are melted into a layer of compact maskant and it would tightly adhere to the surface of the workpiece. The most important, the cost is much lower than the spray-paint of the same effect.

The process of the the electrostatic spraying is pre-process (unoil, derust and parkerising); spraying the paint under the action of Electrostatic; solidification under the high temperature (refer to the suitable temperature for the powder, usually at 160-180 degree); cooling when they discharge.

Hi jinandexiaoyan

The electrostatic coating /spraying is great for all the reasons you have said, it is the best that you could be using for your machines Etc.

I think if you had a spray booth & a metal draw under the frame that you hang your parts on you can save the power in the draw & reuse it, put a plastic liner in the draw for each color
