    Pop-up tool touch probe

We have a Mitsubishi horizontal machining center and we're going to have a tool touch probe installed. We want to mount the probe on a pop-up arm so that the probe is out of the way during machining. We are having trouble finding a company that makes a pop-up arm like this. Has anyone put a pop-up arm with a tool touch probe on a horizontal machine?

Renishaw should have it. All my makinos do. Mazaks do, but I think thats there own. Have to look into add on applications. Have you talked to Mitsubishi to see what they offer?

Mitsubishi doesn't offer any. Neither does Renishaw.
