I have an Ikegai FX20N lathe, a Comet Machining Center, an (apparent) no name lathe, and a Kitamura Mycenter-1 with a fanuc control.

Used machinery is so cheap right now, everyone seems to be going belly-up.

I don't have manuals for any.

I phoned Fanuc at 1-888-326-8287. I think I started at option 5, technical assistance.

From the Make, model and serial of the machines, they were able to tell my the type of controller, and serial number of the controller.

They also set me up with an account number. From there I was able to identify my no-name lathe.

With that information I was able to order Operator, Maintenance, and Connection manuals for all four machines. Not all manuals were in stock. Some they are going to have to have printed in Japan... 12 to 16 weeks for delivery.

Total cost for 12 manuals, for four different machines... $400.00.

I will soon have manuals for a 0M-A, a 10M-A, a 6T-A, and a 6T-B.

So easy, and Fanuc was so helpful.
