What is the weight of the machine with out the cast stand? Does this machine have ways (ie dove tail ways)?

Thanks for your question.

The machine uses linear bearings on all three axis. They are H class precision.

The machine was designed from the ground up to the ways as a unified structure for stiffness and vibration damping. There is no differentiation between the "base" and the "machine" The machine is cast of meehanite type low silicon grey cast iron.
