    CAT 40 BT 40 to NMTB 40

Is there a way to adapt a Cat 40 or BT 40 collet to a NMTB 40 collet? The NMTB uses a draw bar instead of a pull stud. Has anyone done this?

    Thanks

    Vince

Using CNC BT or CAT (din 69871) on Manual Machines

In my days at Nikken Kosakusho UK, we used to have a simple male to female convertor made to reproduce the extra lenght required, to allow customers to use BT shanks on machine with manual draw bar only (this was because the female thread depth was about an 1/8" less than the ISO/din 2080 standard depth required for power draw bars).

    Yes.

Make a drawbar to suit each holder.
