Miyano 7BC, Yasnac 2000G Wiring Diagram .. newbie here

Hey all,

Not sure if I'm posting in the right section or not.

I'm trying to get this lathe running that I've been tripping over for about 8 years LOL.

I powered her up and I'm getting alarm 28 and the tool turret just starts spinning.

I design & build automation machinery for a living and retrofitted an old Bridgeport Series 1 with an Ajax controller ... was hoping I wouldn't have to go thru that with this lathe and/or scrap it ... been holding onto it forever and finally have the time to try and get her running.

Any input advice greatly appreciated!

I have the controller manual and a manual for a Mori Seiki with the same controller but no wiring schematics or info about this "machine not ready" alarm 28.

Give me the bad news if that's all there is on these older machines.

Thanks all,

Sean

Fixed the battery light and got the turret to stop automatically indexing.

The battery was pretty obvious ... I found some wires that mice had eaten thru .. reconnecting those got the turret to stop auto rotating and all the lights seems to come up on the operator interface.

Still got alarm 28 and 2 spindle speed numbers are lit up if that means anything.

Thanks for any input ... even if it means tear out the old control ... just give me some direction please.

Cheers,

Sean
