I am looking for the best CNC control for onesy, twosey type of work. I do NOT do production machining and I spend most of the day doing tooling setups and writing cnc programs. I have a couple ProtoTRAK lathes and find their CNC 'conversational' programming to be GREAT! I don't have to know G-code and I can make CNC programs in a matter of minutes with their 'conversational' programming.
I also have used the Centroid controls and find their 'conversational programming' to be very good as well.
But I don't have experience with Funuc, Siemens, Fagor
What are people's opinions on what they find the best and easiest to use for quick cnc programming?
I do not use any CAM software btw..
My vote goes for Fagor.

I have mostly used Mit and Fanuc and of those I would go with the Fanuc.
I did get a look at the new Milltronics 8000 series control and I think it will be worth looking at.
I have been using a PROTO-TRAK DPM bed mill for about 10 yrs. and nothing else. I have'nt used any other control but I'm completly satisfied with proto-trak MX3
How about Siemens, HURCO, Centroid, etc.?
