Calling all stamping experts

Hi everyone, I'm going to be producing some metal cabinets measuring 1500mm wide x 660 deep x 1340 high (59" x 36" x 53") but I need to put 2 lateral reinforcements along the 1500 side, one at 1/3 height and one at 2/3 height. I'm using 2.0mm (12 guage) sheet metal. The quantities for the product are likely to be reasonable and also long term so I was wondering about the possibility of stamping a strengthening line as per my AutoCAD drawing below. Even though the shape to be stamped is simple, I do realise the tooling gets expensive on something this long (probably 1400mm long stamp line) but I'm going to look at it. I am ignorant of stamping procedures and if viable, I would contract out the stamping part. I do however have some questions if there is anyone with experience in this field.
In this case I'd imagine there would be a male and female die/form with the shape machined into it in male and female versions. The press comes down and stamps the shape into the metal. This part is simple but what I don't know is if this requires a 2 stage die (if that's the correct name) where stage one comes down and clamps the surrounding material with high tonnage then stage two comes down and stamps the line. I'd imagine with a simple one stage press tool which only stamps the line, the surrounding area would crease. Is this the case? If so, I'd imagine my idea of stamping this looses it viability. If this isn't the right forum to ask about this does anyone know of another forum where I could get advice from?
