    Takisawa MAC-V2

I'm heading out tomorrow to take a look at an older Takisawa vertical mill. If anyone here has experience with or input about this brand of mill it woul dbe extremely helpful. Are there any areas of concern I should pay extra attention besides the normal wear stuff?

Follow up: I ended up purchasing the takisawa. It was in excellent condition and the only issue when I inspected it was an air leak in the atc system.

Turns out the Fanuc 6MB controller didn't like the 246v I was getting from the power company. The transformer it came with couldn't be wired to correct for this so I purchased a 3ph 9kva transformer which fixed the problem. The ATC worked when I saw the demonstration but now it looks like a dead switch. I hope to be making parts by next week when my vises arrive.

I previously owned a Tormach so this is a major step up in milling hp.
