    New VMC needed

    We need more capacity...

I could really use some help here.
We need to add another spindle and I just don't have time to go out and do all the shopping around. I'll list what our needs are and maybe you could make your recommendation.

VMC with a "factory" 2 pallet changer (no 2ndary pallet supplier)
At least 12,000 RPM CAT 40 taper
    40" X axis, 20" Y axis travel
    Fanuc or Yasnak control
Dual arm tool changer (no carosel style)

    What do you say guys?

    Scott,

I would take a look at the 4824 from http://www.republiclaguncnc.com/
In all the research that I've done, this is probably hands down the bestbuilt vmc, its built like a Japanese machine without the high $$.
I'll email you another link with some additional info
