i was surfing the web and came across this website. i thought i would ask this question! my company is about to purchase a large sharp cnc mill. i belive the travel is like 80/45/30. our need is a little unique compared to what alot of people need. we are not in the aerospace industry. we need a large machine to fit our parts in. i guess my question is, how do you people fill about sharp machines. i know they are not a top of the line machine, but for the money, how do they stack up aginst a hass or fadal. also, how is there service. weve been talking to the sales rep, and of course all hes gonna say is good stuff. i need to know from people that are working in this field.

now, i do have experiance with programing. i curentlly use powermill to program a robot. all we need is the machine (mill), but im afraid to purchase and end up with a p.o.s.
