Anyone have a EMCOTURN 345-11 CNC Lathe?

We are looking at getting one of these and I was just wondering if anyone had one, or had any good/bad experiences with it?

It has a siemens 840d/810d controller.

emco is not the best lathe on the market, if I had a choice I would choose a different maker. the problem is future support, go for something with a fanuc control. or an Okuma, Takisawa, Mazak etc;

future support meaning what exactly? parts, technical questions?

I know their not the best out there, but we came across one at a decent price and just looking for some input from people that know about them.

this company tend to copy other company's ideas only not as well. I don't know what support you can expect in the usa, but they are not very popular in europe because they are not top end. if they are a good price, how do they compare with Haas for example, because they are certainly no better.
