    Wanted: Tool post holder

I just bought a used lathe and it didn't come with a tool holder. I want to build a QCTP, but I need something to hold the tooling to start with. Does anybody have a tool holder they want to sell cheap? I looked on eBay and couldn't find anything reasonable.

Check out www.shars.com for relatively inexpensive toolposts. Might even be good enough to be your permanent toolpost

Page 91 or page 93 of their horrid online catalogue.
First you get good, then you get fast. Then grouchiness sets in.

That thing was only $22.50 delivered! How much cheaper are you looking for?! Maybe stop in at a shop and give them a $150 deposit to borrow an old one of theirs for a weekend, then return it and get your cash back, if you're a nice guy I know a lot of shop owners around here that would help a brother out in a situation like that... That was a fair deal, what I am looking for is a deal like that one. I figured someone would have one they wanted to get rid of before I go to eBay.
