compacitor

I got several start compacitor's over the years from Mcmaster-Carr. This is a common problem with electric motors that are made outside the U.S. You should be able to get information off the compacitor as its type and size. It is either a run compacitor or start compacitor. My guess it is a start compacitor. If you can turn the machine on and with care spind the motor and if it runs it would be the start compacitor. I hope this helps. Larry

that's who i called a little over 2 months ago and they told me the parts should be here next month. that's the same thing i heard every month i called. they also told me they were the only one that had that part.

thanks for the help. i called the company where i bought it from and they called the manufacture and it is now in stock and is being ship to me. i just do not get why it would take over 2 months to get a part, even if it's being shipped from china.
