I don't have your setup but maybe you could find the rating and replace. Is there any numbers on it for a start. IE how many microfarads, voltage and what size is the burnt one. From there it should not be to hard to replace.

i bought a shop fox M1007 Mill Drill machine around feb of this year. 6 moths later smoke started to come out near the motor as i was milling a piece of delrin rod. i called shop fox and they told me my compacitor was burnt and they would send a new one. i called 2 weeks later to check the status of it and they said it was back ordered. another 2 weeks later i called and they said it would take another month. the month of wait was over and i called back today, they told me it should be here by the beginning of the year. i do not want to call in a month for them to tell me it's still not here.
what r my options? how do i get my milling machine working again? i check ebay and the net for the compacitor but no luck.
here is the mill

Any motor repair shop should be able to fix you up with either a start or run capacitor, but it may have already cooked the motor winding OR the centrifugal switch could be stuck in if it has one, in this case it would overheat the new start capacitor and the start windings.
It would pay to get the motor checked first.
If its a Chinese motor, I would also look at replacing it with a N.American or other origin model.
The Chinese have not yet mastered AC motors IMO.
