Want a BIG CNC Mill, Cheap? (not an ad)

I was perusing a copy of Machinery Journal (a trade magazine of nothin' but ads by west coast machine tool dealers... been on their mailing list for 5-6 years now..).

One dealer (George Washington Machinery, georgewamachinery.com) has a "K&T VB-4 CNC Vertical Machining Center, Allen-Bradley Control, Auto-Tool Changer"..
    Listed for $1500 ?!?

Well.. I don't NEED a whateverthatis... but I went to their site and looked...

    http://www.georgewamachinery.com/K&T%20VB-4%20Mill%20(1-2-2003).htm

I REALLY don't need an EIGHT TON vertical machining center...
And I notice that they don't list the price on their site...

I just have to wonder about that machine though...
    Is it REALLY $1500?
    Does it WORK?
Is a "K&T VB-4 with Allen Bradley Control" some sort of turd of the machine tool industry?
Did they drop this one off a forklift and bend it out of kilter by half a hammer handle?

I think I'll stick to my plan of retrofitting my Mill/Drill... 99% of what I want to do is small, light cut stuff...
But one this big would be COOL

Just wondering how possible something LIKE this would BE for a "hobbiest"...
Well.. a hobbiest with a big damn truck, forklift, and more enthusiasm than sense.... (I've been known to be described like that OCCASIONALLY..).
