CNC Mill Troubles

I have been trying to get a mill to work at my old highschool, and for some reason when i try to jog the x axis it sometimes doesnt move. The mill was originally a manual mill, and was adapted to CNC. I realize this information may not be very helpful but if anyone has any suggestions please let me konw. Thanks

It's kinda like the engine you buy and the seller say "it ran when I took it out of the car". You may have to do some cleaning and maintenence to it to get it to run right.
Break your connect loose and clean the terminals. It is a good place to start.

Red face CNC table

Hi All

well in a bit of a pickle.. I have gone and bought a programme, and i am now looking at purchasing a CNC table, whilst i am pretty good with my hands. i think the best way for me to go would be to purchase the rest either as assembled item or a kit form, looking for a table around 3ft x 2ft or slighty bigger. i checked out what i need and not being as clever as some i think i may end up buying the wrong pieces if i bought everything seperate. I have looked at Axiom, but getting no feed back and torchmate, well bit out of my pocket money range (missus). any advise would be gratefully recieved

Dave
