    Converting a lathe to CNC

I have two Atlas Press Company No. 618 6" metal lathes and I want to convert one to cnc. What do I need to know in order to go about doing this?

    WTF?
Well that didn't work. It's going to take me a while to get a pic of my own lathes.

Anyway, what I need is a variable controle for the main motor, a servo or stepper motor for the screw drive, two for the cross slides and all the necessary electronics and stuff.
