BIG AL is on a distinguished road
A funny thing happened on the way to the forum

I was off in the ether just a bit ago, away from Mother Ship(CNC ZONE) and came upon somthing I thought the rest of the crew might want to view. I stumbled on a couple of inter- galactic sites that showed great promise (they were quick to extrol the virtues of the zone) I knew that these being must be vary advanced being, I looked at some of their equipment and knew some amoung us might see the worth of their understanding. So I offer up these two.http://www.stickman4.homestead.com/8x14lathe.html Andhttp://www.tedatum.com/thms/index.html Hope you enjoy the ride!

I've been following "The Hobbyist's Machine Shop" (tedatum) for a while now! Dan's got me convinced to get one of those bench metal band saws....so convenient and portable.

Alot of good info found on both of these sites. I agree that little band saw is nice and Dan's review has me looking for bench space in my shop. I was vary impressed with Dan's review of the 8" swing lathe, "looks like a heck of a bang for the buck". I know if I was looking for a small lathe my money would be on one of these machines!
