    Hi guys,

I would like to have your opinion on Leadwell, a cnc producer from Taiwan.
Does anyone have experience on theese machines?

I have two. An MCV-0 and a V-40. The MCV we got a year ago, just got the V40 a couple months ago.

I think they are good machines. We are selling the MCV because we got the V40. They both are accurate, reliable, and neither has had any major problems.

I think if you look at a Leadwell, then go look at Fadal, Haas, Supermax and MANY other machines, you won't see that much difference. I think that to get a genuinely "better" machine, you need to step to something like Mazak (at least), or Mori, Matsuura or others. I think to justify high end machines, you need to do high end work. We cut tons of acrylic, lots of aluminum, a little bit of steel, brass, copper, and titanium and none of the leadwells have ever skipped a beat. Never needed any service on any of the machines so I can't say how their service is.

    Well,

I do have now a Leadwell machine, it is an MV-30i.
Running good, i not have tools to measure the accuracy, i sometimes leave it working and go home for eating. This is a good machine and a good company.
    Highly recommended !!

    Cheers,
    ddanutz
