I am looking for a metal lathe for an affordable price (budget under $7000), new, hopefully with a DRO. I have been looking at the models available from Grizzley Tool & Enco and I am curious if anyone has any experience with these items. It looks as though Grizzley models their equipment after Clausing & LeBlond lathes (nearly identical controls), which I am familiar with. However, Enco has a good deal going on a 14x40 lathe with DRO right now and I am curious if anyone is familiar with this item:

Does anyone know of a reputable Clausing/Colchester rebuilder or retailer of quality used equipment who I might be able contact?

As a note I prefer a geared head lathe, but vari-speed is do-able also.
