Question Machine Ware Technology Lathe Control HELP

I worked my way through college running Okuma lathes and mills. I now teach in a middle school and my classroom has a Machine Ware Technology Lathe. All the disk for the software are corrupt and I cant get them to load on my older DOS box or the Apple software to work. I have downloaded the Mach2 software as a start on getting this thing running. The lathe itself is a sherline that has been converted to CNC. All the maneul controls work and I know what the pinout into the machine is. I need help figureing out what needs to be set as HI/LO because I have no clue what those pins control. Pin #'s 19, 12, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, are used. 10 and nine are just jumpered over to each other and no wires go to the controller. 6 is jumpered to 8 with a wire going to the controller. Any help would be great or just general information on this machine.

I'm having similar difficulties finding any information about this lathe.
unfortunately one motor is working in one direction and manual mode and I get no other movement at all.

I cannot find any documentation or information anywhere on the Internet about the slave or schematics or hints on how to check see which sections broken.

extremely frustrating because I think the only answer is going to be that the whole thing needs to be gutted and a new driver board installed.

Unfortunately I will lose the ability to use the manual interface that's built into the cabinet as well as view the LCD display built into Cabinet.

it by chance anyone has any information on the Lathe before I destroy it by ripping out all the electronics, please let me know.
