Have you checked out, "JFettig" here on the zone? He sells a kit, to convert a table top lathe , kinda cool!

I am new to cnc lathes, however i have just got hold of a Boxford 240 TCL lathe with 8 station tool changer, but there is no manual with the lathe.
Can anyone help and advise me where i can get a manual from or where i can borrow one to copy, i also need an electrical circuit diagram. I would naturally cover postage costs and compensate for the time.

Reg

Boxford 240TCL cnc lathe

I have a Boxford 240 tcl manual now, thanks to Chris who supplied it free. I need now a wiring diagram and software, my machine is about 1995/7 i think.

The pc (old one) that came with the machine will not boot up into windows 95 keeps dropping out into DOS with a line error message.
Everything works under manual control.

Thanks,
reg

Hello Reg,
Is there anything in the manual about checking/adjusting the alignment of the tailstock? I am certain mine is out, but I can't see any way of adjusting it. If the manual covers it, is there a chance you might scan just those pages and send them to me, please?
Anyone else have any thoughts about this?
