Hi All,
I recently purchased a ProtoTrak AGE-2 controlled knee mill. It's been running fine....but, we had a power failure last week and now the machine won't come up.
I ran the Logic Cable test and the pendant is working fine. All the fuses are good. All the connections are tight. But the CPU isn't booting up. I'm guessing it's a power supply failure as I have no lights inside the lower unit. ProtoTrak tells me I need to purchase a new lower unit....Many $$$ for me right now. Reasonable compared to other machines, though.
Has anybody had a similar problem? And, have you just replaced the power supply yourself? Which supply did you use?
Thank you for looking and thank you in advance for ANY help!

Hi All,
I replaced the power supply in the control and the "lights came on". The DRO works as it should. When I tried to jog the table; I got an "E Stop Engaged" message.
I didn't set the E Stop and tried to set it and unset it several times, but I'm still getting the message. There must be an interlock in the control and I need to clear it. Does anybody know how to clear it?
The manual was no help. It just says to disengage the E Stop.
Thank you!
