I would like made (DIY) lathe and milling machine as one machine for machining steel. Machine have to be robust and with CNC control.
Guides will be: HIWIN Linear roller guideway (size 35 or 45 mm).
Spindles with ball nut: HIWIN (diameter 32 or 40 mm)
Machining unit with clamping system HSK 63.
Milling area: 500x500x200 mm

This moment I need ideas for design (construction). I saw Emco Maximat 11 and Smithy 1220, but this machines are too small and from my opinion also too small robust. I would like to made professional machine and very useful.
