RF45 clone with a lathe chuck?

    Hi,

Has anyone ever tried fitting a lathe chuck to the head of a RF45, ZAY7045 or similar clone?

I was thinking of making up an adapter as my lathe swing is small and I need to get a bigger swingover. The head of my RF45 clone can swing to 90 degrees and I thought it might be very possible. I can the fit my cutter to the X and Y tables and then I can have a huge swingover.

Do you guys have any thoughts on this?
