Hello all
Just recently purchased a 1920 south bend lathe I'm assuming it is 12"x48"
but i dont know if im measuring right 12" from center of head straight down to bed of lathe
and total bed length is 48" has serial number J781 on end of bed and all or most parts are numbered11-148 etc.
saddle and other parts have 781 on them so assuming matching serial numbers. I believe it is a junior model and does have
the ceiling pulley with it mounting by a welded bracket thats bolted onto legs of lathe
is there any other info about this lathe anyone can tell me about.......
it has a large 3/4hp chicago elec. motor single phase.
