Matsuura MC500V 2 ATC issues

I am going to try and explain this the best I can. The controls are Fanuc 6M

I just got this machine so I am not sure of its history but seems to be well taken care of.

It needed a crt when I got it in and started testing it out trying to get rid of the ATC alarm. I was getting an error 9 code witch was indicated in the maintenance manual either a bad limit switch or bad ATC motor.

So I cleaned the limit switch and got the ATC alarm to clear but still having some issues.

Through MDI I cant get the ATC to work at all.

But in manual I can lower the carriage and and spin it.

Hear is where it gets weird. When I lower the carriage and toggle the switch to slide it out to the tool change mode it just make a clunk.

Hear is the reason it is making the clunk it is spinning the wrong direction and the clunking is coming from the motor is spinning the screw to its limit and hitting the pin on the carriage.....

How do I know that you ask???? I took the fan cover off the motor and spun the motor CW and the and the ATC moved over to the tool change position. I even verified it was spinning backwards. I toggled the switch to the out position and the ATC went in and the motor spun CCW. Also I toggle the switch to move the ATC in and no solenoids click but when I toggle it out it clicks and trys to spin the motor backwards.

This is were it gets even more confusing to me I located the solenoids and I can manually press one in and the ATC goes out and then I press the other and the ATC comes back in.

Any help would be great!!!! If you have any more question please ask.

Motor that rotates arm is three phase?, Hydraulic?
all ATC work in sequence and revisión of signals progressively
i.e.
Arm home position, Sensor or switch detection.
Pot up
spindle orientated
Etc, etc.
in order to execute tool change automatically
if you have manuals, you should be able to check all these signals while executing manually.
dpending answer to first question you can swap phase or hose.

Robby The motor is electric so I would assume it would be 3 phase. I am going to try a couple more things tomorrow and see what I can figure out.

I am learning as I go I have had some phone help to try and figure it out.
