I have a Matsuura with yasnac i80M. I can get you a post for MasterCAM...but there is no useful "inexpensive" CAM software...it just doesn't exist. Try a pirated copy of something...oh..was that my outside voice???

Anyone know any?

hey can you send me that post for mastercam please?

Hi!
We have just installed Matsuura MC-500V2 Yasnac MX2 machine.
We are using HSMWorks (HSMWorks • Integrated CAM for SolidWorks) for producing programs. It has generic YASNAC post, but if you have basic knowledge of JavaScript language you can tailor the post to any needs.
After Fanuc controls I am a bit confused with setting up tools and coordinate systems on the machine.
Could we exchange good ideas with you?
Sincerely, Igor
I have a Yasnac 18i...not sure how different they are but if can help I would be happy too. I will check out the MX2 and see if there what differences there are. I to am used to a fanuc control but I've had the Matsuura with the yasnac for 8 months and find it to be a much more user freindly control.
I have the same machine and use Gibbs.
