super small cmc.. where to start?

I am looking to either build or purchase a CNC machine, but everything I'm seeing seems like overkill for what I need.

I am specifically working with parts less than 100mm. Even the "micro" CNC machines I've found seem way too big for my needs. Can anyone recommend where to start?
