notShai,

Do a search on eBay for a "MT2 Chuck"

Make sure it come with the arbor, yours is a MT2 (Morse taper #2)

You can get either a Jacobs chuck or a collet type.

notShai,

The part you posted in your picture (image1) is just a MT2 arbor.

You need a drill chuck with the morse taper in the chuck. I read your spec to say that you have an MT2 on the shaft of the drill press. The chuck fits over the taper on the drill press. Like this one (although it has extra adapters you don't need):

notShai,

There is a good chance the old chuck was slipping and scared the surface of the existing arbor.

I suggest replacing the existing arbor, that way it will fit the new chuck properly.

The spindle sticking out is tapered? Measure it. The big ones look straight at first glance, unless it is a special.

When you extend the spindle down is there a slot that goes through th spindle length wise? If not the spindle is NOT a MT(Morse taper) spindle.

The listing in Ebay was wrong. It should have been listed as a JT(Jacobs taper) This and threads are the standard drill chuck mountings. Here is a chart of the different taper dimensions - http://www.jacobschuck.com/pdf/Techn...nformation.pdf
