Gecko 540 + Keling Power Supply + Keling Steppers - Good combo?

Im looking at purchasing a gecko 540 controller, Keling Power Supply KL-600-48 48V/12.5A, and 4 Keling KL23H284-35-4B Steppers.

Would this make a good combination? Is that an appropriate size power supply for both the controller and steppers?

I will be using this for a cnc table that will both do plasma and aluminum milling.

the 381s have the low inductance that is supposed to be a good match for the g540 plus 387s are out of stock

Okay, thanks. After some reading/learning about inductance, those seem like a good idea.

Can I get away with the smaller/cheaper 48v 7.3a running 4 steppers? 2 of them will be for dual driving the gantry. Any other power supply suggestions?

Probably could, the formula (from gecko) for gaging a power supply is to add all motor current
then multiply by .6.
(4)3.5 x .6 = 8.4 Amps.
If you don't run 3D parts and only 2 axis move at the same time, you'd be under.
I've run (3) 5 Amps motors simultaneously on the same 7.3A supply no trouble.
