If you are making waterblocks for a PC, why not farm out the work to someone here?

Because that's not as fun as making them yourself

If you are looking for fun and only doing this for home projects why not just burn the part out on a manual mill and save yourself the time of conversion? Of course the conversion could be half the fun also.

The reality is that you will likely need to convert a mini mill of some sort. This isn't a big item to machine so just about anything with a square column should work. Do realize though that the conversion is likely to cost as much as the mill itself. Drive down to you locak HF or Griz store and take a look around. Or shop online.

An alternative that you might find even more fun is to build a router type machine discussed in these forums. That would be even more fun and should be doable if you are targeting aluminum.

    Thanks
    dave
