Looking for NSK Linear Bearings for Matsuura MC-510VG

I need a couple of linear bearing trucks for our Matsuura 510VG. They are NSK bearings that are now obsolete. The part # is/was LY451120BN2-01P5Z3 (according to Matsuura parts list).
Does anyone know of a third party that rebuilds bearing trucks? Or is that something that just isn't done.
I have just about everything I need except for the wire spring ball retainers. I would be willing to buy some used trucks, but I haven't been able to locate any.

bite the bullet this time and call methods at 1-877-MMT-4CNC they will be able to supply you with a factory recomended replacement of both the rail and the trucks as an assembly. once you have the new ones you should be able to get aftermarket replacements useing the new numbers.
(you could always return them once you get the numbers and order from somewhere else)

Good luck

i am not sure where you are in USA but the north east methods will just bring the trucks and slide them on your rails.

you must remember to go slowly when you are holding the overtravel switch to make sure your going the right way and stop blowing out the left side X-axis trucks.

Thanks Hitachibos.
So that is what happened; the left trucks hit before the hard stop bumpers hit...hmm, that sounds problematic. Common occurance on this model of machine? I have already received a quote for a new rail with 2 trucks and wasn't impressed with the price. That is why we are trying to rebuild the trucks.

MMT is the only place your goning to get one rail and two trucks. they come from NSK in a matched set of two rails and four trucks. MMT will split the set and sell for half price.

What you need to do is move the table to the left but not all the way unbolt and slide off the old trucks.

useing the rail they send you put it up against your machione rail and slowly slide the new truck on WITHOUT losing any balls.

I am not sure if you can do this with a full length rail you might have to cut the rail to about a 1-1/2 foot long piece.

they keep short cut rails in thier warehouse for thier mechanics to use they just slide the two trucks on them and go to customer without the rail (and still charge same price) plus install.

Good luck

I understand how to put on and take off a bearing truck; my problem is they don't make this model of NSK bearing anymore, so I will have to use a new rail and truck that are not the same profile as the old bearing/rail combo. At least that is what I am being told.
