Mini CNC?

Hello everyone,

I have two questions, they are:

1) What is the best mini 3-axis CNC machine in the market today?

2) Is there any mini 3-axis CNC machine in price around <= USD2000? If yes, can you please tell me what is the manufaturer and its website?

Thank you very much in advance

Deedo

You don't say what kind of machine you want, a mill, a router, engraver, etc.

One place to look is at sherline.com

A nice little mill that you can get going with a minimum of fuss is the Taig 2019 CR/ER (CR means cnc ready). To that you add a set of motors and a controller and be well under your price point. Of course you have to get tooling and stuff but I am assuming that your stated budget is for the machine only.

http://www.taigtools.com/mmill.html Look at the mini mill page. They also sell turnkey cnc versions but most people add their own controllers and motors. The current state of the art is a control box using the Gecko G540 controller and matched motors in the 180-280 oz-in range.

There are a few dealers that will put a package together for you:

Jeff Birt is a member here, I have ordered parts from him and he is very good to deal with:

DeepGroove1 has sold a lot of mills. I bought mine from him several years ago. This was before he was selling the G540 based controller though. I have since upgraded the controller.

good luck

I saw how a router machine works. It's engraving metal, wood, plastic material in sheet form. I need a mini CNC that can machining raw material in rectangle block, volume, not a sheet, such as machining statue, mechanical parts, mold, etc., in one step. I don't know what milling machine is and what this machine used for but I know and have experience in using manual lathe machine.

You might want to go to Youtube and do a search for "milling machine". That will give you a much better idea of what a milling machine is and does.

From your description, a milling machine is probably what you're looking for.
