    Fanuc 21i TB

    I have put in for a job that requires me to work a Doosan s550l mch with 21i Tb Fanuc control and im wanting to know the differences between all the other fanucs i have worked?? Puma Doosan 400L, Puma s2500, Binns and Berry and every bloody other lathe i have worked is there a MASSIVE difference or are they just ever so slight??

    They are pretty much the same if used on a lathe. More importantly is how the control is married to the lathe. For instance, how the work offset is used, tool offset, tool presetter? The canned cycles are pretty much the same. The control can be quite different in the settings in the control, like timers, diagnostics, and so on. If you are very familiar with the Fanuc control, then you should have little problem. Good Luck.
