Hi I have a 3W LED which is fixed onto a small, star-shaped Al plate. I would like to fix the Al star plate to an Al heatsink, as it produces quite a lot of heat which must be removed. Unfortunately I can't use screws and thermal paste. I can't source thermal glue or thermal tape in time. Can I use something like Pratley's "Steel Quickset" (epoxy) a.k.a "Set-Like-Steel" ? Does anyone know what this product's heat transfer capabilities are? Is this epoxy able to transfer heat sufficiently? Temperatures +/- 35 deg C Thanks! B |
