Mcmaster carr has a great section on selecting the proper rubber for your application. And then a large selection of what you need.

I was hoping that someone could tell me what kind of rubber pencil erasers are made out of. I need to either purchase the raw material (in round stock) or the erasers themselves in bulk. The material doesn't have to be the same as the erasers, but it does need to have similar properties. I'm trying make some dummy bullets that I can dry fire in my weapon. So the material needs to absorb the impact of the firing pin hitting it A LOT without getting shreaded. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

why not buy rubber stock at your desired thickness then have a local fabricator waterjet to the desired diameter.
We use to have a waterjet. We sold it a few years ago though. It's too expensive and there's only 2 shops around here that have them. And they charge an arm and a leg. Thanks for the input though. I appreciate it!
I'd recommend urethane rod that is also available from McMaster Carr, Shore A, 60-70 durometer should do the trick. You can grind it or machine it as required.
Good luck,
