hi, I need to make some 3d milling of some halves plugs for some RC plane rudders. I would like to find a material which I can mill easilly and then mold with resin after waxing. I used to do that with MDF and then spraying primer but MDF is too hard to machine and noizy. don t like this solution. is there any economical alternative like filled resins blocks? the blocks need to be about 500x500x50mm |

no the machine isn t too weak...maybe i didn t explained correctly. the machine can cut and even break my Kress 1050 if my 10mm mill blocks into it. the point is that the mill gets hot fast and the burn the mdf...if I reduce more the rpm, then it doesn t remove fast enough the material...I cut at a feed of 1000mm/min with 3mm depth. |
