Hey all, I have a job coming up that requires the parts to be made of C-300 steel. It is an 18% nickel alloy. Does anyone have any experiance machining this material? I should mention that this a turned part with the smallest section coming in at .043" and the thickest at .250". It also requires heat treatment. Has anyone seen what the actual expansion/contraction of this material is after heat treatment? Thanks in advance. |
