Question Routing Aluminum as fast as I can?

I got a rush job to do milling ¼" aluminum with an ¼" O flute Onsrud
I have coolant ready and don't have time to make any mistakes.
I was thinking of cutting 0.1" per pass..not sure of the speed.

    Any advice would be great..thanks

    Gerald

Depth not exceeding half the cutter diameter. 0.1" sounds good.
If it is good quality aluminum the it will be a soda.
If it is saucepan aluminium watch for cutter cloging like a hawk!.

    Thanks Gerry,

I wish the onsrud guy would have told me about that page.

Because I'm somewhat of a CNC newbie, how does chipload apply to depth of cut?

    Thanks again,

    Gerald

Look at the top right on that page and it tells you.
