    Smile Aluminium 7000 series

    Hi everyone,
    Got a question or 2 to seek out. ... Could anyone advise me on where i could find info or notes about aluminium 7000 series??? Upon searching, there is not much written about them. Could anyone advise me more on the 7000 series. thks...

    Formwell,

    You could also try the Machinery's Handbook and others like McGrawHill for a quick reference. 7000 series Aluminum is heat treatable like 6000 series. It's also a tiny bit harder to cut some say. Personally never felt the difference.

    You can try MedCut, not sure of a website, but I believe it is run by the US Gov't.

    Best of luck and I'll check out a few places to see if I can come up with something.

    BTW: what exactly are you looking for? Applications or Properties?

    Thks for all that.. i am lookin at its properties and what makes the 7000 series difference n unique from the 6000 series
