Class 40 cast iron advanced feeds and speeds

Hello, I was wondering if someone could provide some indepth and advanced information on how to calculate feeds and speeds for class 40 cast iron. I am looking for internet references and or books that might be able to help me. I need an actual engineering aspect from the ground up, I don't just want to use the cutting speeds and chip per tooth numbers one would find in the Machinist Handbook. I want to start from the ground up and calculate these values for my specific needs, such as my depth of cut, hardness of the material and so on. So I would appreciate if someone might be able to tell me about a book I can buy or a website I can go to to get some research on this area, thank you.

call kennametal or iscar they will reccomend a starting point and tooling to suit your needs.and do like i do and ask for a test inserts or endmill that way if they don't work send them back and need not pay for them.
