Not sure where to post this... I am looking for Fiberglass sheets 1/16"-1/8" (Ideally 3/32") for structural frames for a quad-copter and/or various other parts like side frames for small heli, motor mounts for small planes, etc. Would something like Electrical-Grade Fiberglass (GPO3) would well for this? Is there something more commonly used? I am trying to stay away from carbon fiber, as the price is just way too high. I have only found the GPO3 at McMaster |

| If I was going to try something else it would be G10-FR4. You can get closer to some of the specs with it. However, nothing is going to come close to carbon fibers "Modulus of Elasticity in Flex" spec. Here's specs off some tech sheets I found for the 3 materials. Tensile Strength (PSI) GP03: 10,000 G10: 40,000 CF: 65,000 Sheer Strength (PSI) GP03: 14,000 G10: 19,000 CF: 12,500 Flexural Modules (PSI) GP03: 1,230,000 G10: 2,700,000 CF: 18,600,000
