Hi Guys, Trying to machine some stainless 304 and having all sorts of issues. I have to cut a chunk out of it at a depth of 16mm. I'm having reasonable results with a 12mm 4F carbide endmill at 1250rpm, full depth, 1mm step over and 600mm/min feed rate. I'm sure there's a better way. I have a HSS 16mm router, but haven't used one so not sure what to do with it. Can anyone advise. For your info I have a Haas VF2 10k spindle. |
