Does anyone have any experience in machining of Nomex Honeycomb Core? We are tooling up for a new job that uses this material. The part is not big, 2" x 9" x 15". Requirements are profile cutting and two sides will have an contoured airfoil machined on. Any help in cutter selection or general fixturing would be great. Thanks  |

I'd recommend a company called Corehog. They speciallize in cutting honeycomb. I've had good luck with their stuff and they seem to be pretty good with technical info. I think their site is corehog.com Good luck ! |
