our products start off as cylindrical blanks that get a helix cut into them with a solid center. later on when the center is bore'd out, burrs form on the inside of the beams because of the voids between the beams. we have been trying to fill these voids with machinable wax but the material still forms burrs. the parts are either out of aluminum or stainless steel (common types) does anyone do similar work or know how to reduce/ eliminate the burrs? |
